The 35 mm diameter lens is framed in a silver setting (containing approx. 35 grams of pure silver). The exceptional bi-convex, crown glass lens (identical to the handheld magnifier 2059) is distortion-free right up to the edge. This loupe can be held with two fingers on the back to position it correctly. This design prevents the lens from being scratched. A handheld magnifier, such as the 2059, is always at risk when set down. The transport case consists of hard cardboard lined with silk.
