Description
The 56-TR-50U2 is the communication holder required to transfer data from TandD’s TR-5i logger family to a PC. Connect the holder to your computer using the included USB Mini-B cable, place the logger screen-down on the holder, and optical communication takes over — no cables in the logger, no risk of a wet logger short-circuiting via the USB port.
TR-5i loggers do not have their own USB port (to maintain IP67 water and dust tightness) — all PC communication goes through this holder. The holder is powered by USB bus power from the computer; no external power supply is needed.

Applications
The 56-TR-50U2 is a mandatory accessory for anyone who owns or purchases TR-5i loggers — without it, you cannot configure, read, or change settings on the logger. One holder is sufficient for multiple loggers (loggers are swapped individually on the holder).
