Description
The 56-RTR502BL is the L-model of the 56-RTR502B temperature logger — same electronics, same -60 to +155 °C measuring range via external probe on cable, but with a large battery compartment for LS26500 C-cell lithium batteries providing approx. 4 years of operation between battery changes. Four times longer than the standard model.
Designed for long-term installations where battery replacement is costly or inconvenient — fixed processes, remote sites, warehouse monitoring installations. The probe (TR-5106 standard, or alternative probes for specific applications) is inserted into the measuring point while the logger unit is placed in a secure location with wireless transmission to the base unit.

Applications
The 56-RTR502BL is suitable for fixed process monitoring where the logger is installed and left unattended for several years: industrial temperature monitoring (ovens, heat treatment, autoclaves), pharmaceutical storage with long shelf lives, freezer monitoring, water-based heating systems, and remote sites without PC access.
